Account Director, Brand  

SUMMARY 

Job Title: Account Director, Senior Account Director, Brand  

Reports to: Head of Brand  

About the role:

Do you love creating a great story and have the knowledge and drive to ensure it travels the entire media ecosystem? Do you know your copy from your content, and your Guardian to your TikTok? We want to hear from you. You'll be a go-to person for some of our key clients, crafting stories that travel for UK, European and global remits

You will ideally have: 

Creative thinking: Be fascinated with trending stories, sharing them with team and using your deep understanding to create stories that both media and audiences want 

Confidence in leading: Be a strong team leader, managing multiple client accounts, meeting deadlines and getting the best from your team 

Media friends: Build and nurture relationships with key media, in all its forms, to get our clients noticed  

Strong written skills: Ability to create copy from scratch that is compelling, and adaptable to different markets (in some instances) 

Passion for integrated work: Including topline knowledge of the broader marketing mix, alongside how, when and where earned has its role 

Strong team building/bonding skills: Great interpersonal skills and love of working within a team so you can collaborate with the broader agency, content creators, creatives, designers, etc. to deliver great work 

Client partnership: Really care about clients and who they are, building longstanding and trusted relationships and be able to provide strong client consultancy when needed 

A love of new business: A love of the blank sheet of paper – from taking the brief, creating the strategy, workshopping the ideas and the pitch finale, you love being a core part of the team and the thrill of the whole ride 

Stellar organisational skills: Strong project management prowess and a mindset to treat deadlines seriously and know how to deliver against them 

What You Need: 

The role focuses on three of our most exciting umbrella brand/portfolios; all are high profile and brave. It would be advantageous to have experience of the food & drink, hospitality and/or luxury, but not imperative. This hire is as much about attitude as it is experience
