About The Job
We are looking for an analytically talented individual to join the Zeno Group Analytics team. This individual will be responsible for managing the analytics strategy and performance reporting across our digital/paid media accounts.
This role is for a Senior Analyst in a communications world – straddling the intersection between numbers and messages. Daily, you will utilize tools and strategies to translate raw data into valuable business insights and optimization suggestions. Working closely with the PR and Digital teams in order to implement data-driven recommendations generated through proprietary in-house learnings at scale and across multiple clients.
About You
As a Senior Analyst you will be the analytics lead for your respective accounts, getting involved at the inception of new campaigns/programs as well as new business opportunities. You will work with digital channel owners and media monitoring experts to help analyze performance and identify key learnings and provide recommendations that will propel the client forward. You will lead client-specific projects from data cleaning and aggregation to visual creation and finally to report completion as you analyze the results to create actionable insights that will guide strategic decisions, uncovering real-time optimization opportunities that impact the bottom line.
The candidate must be data agnostic, willing to leverage information from a bevy of sources to best analyze the problem and forge a solution. This person will build, develop and maintain data structures, reporting systems and build customized dashboards based on KPIs that will support key business decisions and shape future programming recommendations.
This analytics team works in lockstep with the digital team at Zeno and will interact with every facet of the organization and, at times, clients as well. If you have an affinity for a wide gamut of data and are yearning to augment your knowledge, this role will allow you access to some of the most diverse datasets and tools around. That said, this person must be willing to get their hands dirty and roll up their sleeves in order to optimize existing processes, create best practices, work cross-functionally, ensure data validation, as well as build data visualizations from the ground up.
You Will:
- Provide end-to-end marketing analytics support for multiple clients across our paid media portfolio.
- Identify appropriate KPIs based on business objectives and authoring related measurement and test plans.
- Evaluate and recommend specific measurement partners/tools.
- Implement and test tracking infrastructure prior to campaign launch, including tracking tag generation from website analytics systems (e.g., Google/Adobe Analytics) and/or ad serving systems (e.g., DCM).
- Aggregate data from various sources (including but not limited to: site analytics, third-party ad servers, social listening platforms, call center data, CRM, etc.) into integrated report templates or dashboards.
- Provide quality assurance of data throughput throughout the life of a campaign, including ongoing tracking, maintenance, and issue resolution with regard to measurement framework while programs are in the market.
- Draw insights from campaign data and make actionable recommendations for improvement; present findings to internal teams and/or clients.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key partners in the data, measurement, and analytics space.
- Provide an accurate and timely review of junior staff work products as needed.
Require Skills and Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience as a hands-on marketing analyst for paid media
- Intermediate level proficiency of web site analytics packages (Google, Adobe), online ad serving systems (DCM, The Tradedesk) or Supermetrics
- Working knowledge of Tableau and/or Looker Data Studio
- Intermediate level proficiency of Microsoft Excel and pivot tables
- Detail-oriented and well organized
- Strong qualitative and quantitative skills
- Strong communication skills (written & verbal)
- Ability to manage timelines and multitask across a variety of projects
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
This Person Must:
- Love to tinker: What better way to learn than diving in and trying new tools or approaches to data and strategy? The more creative the solution, the better!
- Be a self-starter: Someone who loves taking challenges head-on.
- Love technology: An aptitude for and general interest in technology will go a long way in success for this role.
- Think critically: PR is difficult to measure in nature, we're looking for candidates that can think outside the box and are solution-oriented.
- Learn, teach and collaborate: This role is as much about teaching those around you as it is taking on challenges of your own. Collaboration is key and communication is essential.
- Be willing to laugh: We have a lot of fun and we hope you would, too.
$57,000 - $85,000 a year
