Key Requirements

    • Experience working in the social media and digital industry
    • Expert at using Facebook, Twitter and other social media/digital platforms and experience in strategy
    • and relevance for using these platforms.

    • Good communication and writing skills – attentive to details and strong spelling and grammar abilities.

Responsibilities

    • External – Client Servicing:
    • Solid understanding on the basics of interactive marketing
    • Handle general account service and team administration
    • Participate in client meetings/conference calls
    • Proofread written work and online content
    • Prepare and review activity and status report for client
    • Develop understanding of client’s internal organization, business and sector
    • Work with team on client strategies
    • Assist with content plans
    • Plan and develop content for social media platforms
    • Keep account team abreast of timeline and deadlines
    • Participate in new business process, including research, audits, idea contribution and proposal
    • preparation
    • Understanding of financial concepts at the project level, such as budgeting pricing structure (hourly,
    • retainer, and fixed fee), over-servicing and profitability
    • Understand and participate in agency billing an invoicing structure.
    • Ability to troubleshoot client budget issues

    • Understand internal operations and inter-team cooperation
    • Oversee work products of more junior staff to ensure quality and consistency.
    • Coach and support junior staff, providing them opportunities for growth
    • Provide ongoing, constructive feedback to junior staff consistently.
    • Assist in recruiting, interviewing and selecting junior staff
    • Record and submit time, expenses and POs to the right project codes on a timely basis – ideally daily,
    • but no later than weekly.

    • Demonstrate effective management and task delegation abilities by setting clear expectations and
    • deadlines, providing needed resources, monitoring progress and providing feedback.

    • Help coach and motivate junior staff to produce quality work.
