About The Role:
 
We are currently looking for a Senior Account Supervisor with strong consumer technology experience for our New York office. The SAS will work across several facets of an existing large client team, touching multiple product lines, thought leadership, and integrated, creative campaign work. You must be an expert in the areas of total account management including day-to-day account activity, traditional and emerging PR strategies and the provision of sound creative and strategic counsel to clients to support their business objectives. We are looking for masters of the craft, who are excellent people leaders, client counselors and stay close to the work.

Responsibilities:

    • Collaborate with multi-functional teams to drive results inclusive of traditional and emerging PR tactics.
    • Curate and deliver client presentations, including new business.
    • Demonstrate writing excellence.
    • Develop and drive PR strategies and programs with a focus on earned media, but an understanding of influencer, digital and experiential tactics.
    • Manage multi-functional teams, priorities, budgets and deadlines.
    • Oversee financial and operational performance of accounts.
    • Provide sound creative and strategic counsel to clients and build credibility with senior level client contacts.
    • Supervise junior staff by mentoring, motivating, coaching and providing consistent feedback. 

Qualifications:

    • Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (i.e., at least 2 weeks after last dose) and, if hired, present proof of vaccination before start date. Candidates may request accommodation due to a disability or sincerely held religious belief or an exception required under applicable law.
    • 5-8 years of experience in PR, with a focus in consumer tech PR. Consumer tech experience can range from consumer electronics and retail shops to mobile/telecom and web properties, information technologies and ecommerce to online education.
    • Bachelor’s degree.
    • Corporate experience a plus.
    • Demonstrated ability to present to senior clients and stakeholders.
    • Demonstrated ability to think strategically, creatively, and holistically about client programs.
    • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, the ability to “think on your feet” and respond quickly as business factors shift.
    • Digitally savvy, personally, and professionally. You understand that any client program should be rounded out with social elements.
    • Integrated communications experience (social, influencer, creative) a plus.
    • Prior agency experience a plus.
    • Proven experience developing messaging, programming, and executive thought leadership campaigns.
    • Proven leadership experience, mentoring and developing junior talent.
$79,000 - $116,000 a year
Pay range: $79,000 to $116,000/year USD.
 
An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, travel requirements, revenue-based metrics, any contractual agreements, and business or organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of DJEH’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, a Paid Time Off policy, and region-specific benefits.
