ABOUT THE JOB
We are seeking someone looking to kick off a career in Human Resources to join our fast-paced, high energy HR team, supporting Zeno employees. The Intern will work closely with all members of the HR team and will partner with corporate finance, payroll, and benefits to seamlessly deliver an excellent employee experience for our US and Canada offices. Working directly with the HR team, the HR Intern will maintain physical personnel files and data integrity in our HR database; will own the new hire onboarding process; and will collaborate with HR team members to implement HR initiatives. This position will grow as Zeno continues to grow, offering many opportunities to learn and expand your skills.
Responsibilities

- Play a key role in ensuring a positive and organized onboarding experience
- Own and update key HR trackers, ensuring data accuracy and timely maintenance
- Complete E-Verify for all new hires in compliance with federal regulations
- Create and organize employee folders for all new hires
- Assist with submitting payroll-related changes to the Payroll team for processing
- Collaborate on projects with HR partners, gaining hands-on experience across various initiatives
About You
- You will succeed at ZENO if you are fearless, resourceful, and have a knack for working in a fast-paced, competitive agency setting.
- Approachable demeanor and ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Detail oriented with a sense of urgency.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Knack for managing multiple priorities and delivering on tight deadlines.
- Previous internship or work experience is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Unwavering integrity and professionalism when dealing with confidential information.
$18 - $18 an hour
Pay rate: $18/hour USD
An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, travel requirements, revenue-based metrics, any contractual agreements, and business or organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of DJEH’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, a Paid Time Off policy, and region-specific benefits.
