The Role
 Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Finance Manager will manage and oversees the overall and daily financial operations, and provide budgetary and overall financial guidance. The position is responsible for developing and maintaining sound accounting procedures and practices and ensures the timely and accurate completion of tasks including: office and program budgeting, monthly tracking of expenses, preparation of financial statements, program invoicing, and audit preparation.
 

Responsibilities:

    • Manage and oversee month and end-year process, accounts payable/receivable, cash receipts, general ledger, payroll related activities, treasury, cash forecasting, budgeting, and fixed assets reconciliation.
    • Lead implementation of ERP System.
    • Consolidation of foreign subsidiaries and required local reporting.
    • Work collaboratively with the Contract and Grants Manager, invoice based on the contracts.
    • Reconcile bookings, revenue pipeline, and ensure company’s revenue recognition policy is accurately and effectively implemented.
    • Familiar with revenue recognition standards.
    • Perform reconciliations and variance analysis for balance sheet accounts, revenue and expenditure accounts.
    • Assist in documenting, creating, developing and maintaining policies and procedures and ensure government compliance.
    • Oversee the preparation of Federal and State tax filings, including Sales & Use Tax, Franchise Tax, Property Tax and Corporate Income Taxes.
    • Coordinate and complete annual financial reviews and/or audits.

Experience:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance.
    • 5+ years of general ledger accounting experience, solid knowledge of U.S. GAAP.
    • 3+ years of audit experience in technology, healthcare or government sectors preferred.
    • Strong system skills including ERP and FP&A software.
    • ERP implementation experience.
    • Proficient in G Suite and Microsoft Office.
    • Detail-oriented with ability to verify data, analyze and present findings.
    • Self-starter and hands on with minimal supervision.
    • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and under pressure to meet deadlines.
    • Work well in a dynamic environment and ability to recommend and implement process improvements.     
    • Experience working in a multicultural team and with international offices.
