Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning: Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, milestones, and resource allocation, tailored to ZeroTier’s unique technological projects.
Technical Coordination: Work closely with engineering teams to understand technical requirements and constraints, ensuring project deliverables meet technical specifications and performance standards.
Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, risks, and changes, and addressing any concerns or feedback.
Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and issues, develop mitigation strategies, and proactively manage and resolve challenges to keep projects on track.
Budget and Resource Management: Monitor project budgets and resource allocation, ensuring efficient use of resources and adherence to financial constraints.
Quality Assurance: Ensure that all project deliverables meet ZeroTier’s quality standards and align with our technological goals and customer expectations.
Documentation: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and meeting notes, to ensure transparency and facilitate knowledge sharing.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
5 years of experience in project management, preferably in the technology or software development sector.
Proven experience managing complex technical projects, with a solid understanding of software development and network technologies.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with technical and non-technical teams.
Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, Trello) and familiarity with software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum).PMP, Scrum Master, or other relevant project management certifications are a plus.
Problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail and a proactive approach to project challenges.
