About the role

As Sr/Director, Sales Engineering, you will use your deep understanding of modern technology paradigms and provide fundamental clarity on how Zeta’s Next-Gen processing platform can optimize profitability, engagement, retention, experience and operations at the largest financial institutions in the United States.

1. Card, Statement and Letter Production
2. BPO Services

Digital Apps
1. Mobile / Web Apps

Responsibilities

    • Deep Expertise
    • Gain an in-depth and hands on understanding of the entire Tachyon SaaS stack for Tachyon Credit, Debit, Prepaid and all of the Surround Systems
    • In depth here means equivalent to our Product and Engineering teams that actually develop the stack, with first hand knowledge and understanding of the UI modules, APIs, low-code extension points, events, data model and features
    • Hands-on refers to having used each of those UI interfaces, APIs, events and features themselves in the manner they are expected to be used by an actual Customer
    • Discovery and Needs Assessment
    • Engage in discussions with clients during Sales and RFP stages and understand their needs
    • Conduct as needed discovery sessions to gather information
    • Solution Design
    • Craft solutions that align with the customer's needs on the fly during calls and presentations with the readiness of being able to demonstrate them live
    • Create Sales Presentations, Collateral, RFP Responses
    • Engage with product managers and engineers to gather up-to-date information
    • Articulate the value proposition of our platform
    • Create technical diagrams, architecture illustrations, and visuals to enhance the clarity of responses
    • Demos
    • Create and maintain a library of efficient demo scripts for all of our Products
    • Conduct superlative demos of our platform and product offerings - highlighting key features, unique propositions and differentiating capabilities and using real world scenarios
    • Marketing
    • Work with our Marketing to create continuous thought leadership content for our products by brainstorming relevant topics, providing subject matter expertise, authoring articles, whitepapers, video scripts, case studies
    • Conduct regular Webinars for prospects and Customers on key differentiating topics
    • Speak at relevant industry forums and events
    • Competitive Analysis
    • Conduct and maintain a thorough analysis of competitors and their offerings to position the product/service favorably in comparison

Skills

    • Technical Expertise: Strong technical depth in understanding the architecture, functionality, interfaces and integration capabilities of Cloud native Enterprise SaaS platforms
    • On the fly solutioning: Ability to understand needs, connect dots and solution on the fly when responding to client questions
    • Sales Acumen: Strong sales knowledge and experience including a grasp on deal closing strategies
    • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for presenting technical concepts to non-technical audiences
    • Business Acumen: Understanding the company's business goals, market dynamics, and competitive landscape and being able to contribute to product packaging, pricing, commercial proposals
    • Relationship Building: Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders at customers, and partners
    • Product and Industry Knowledge: Continuously staying updated on product developments, competitors, industry trends, and emerging technologies.
    • Presentation and Public Speaking: Being a confident and effective presenter when representing the company in customer meetings, conferences, and events.
    • Negotiation Skills: Being skilled in negotiation for structuring deals and contracts that benefit both the customer and the company
    • Bias for Action: Taking proactive steps and making decisions swiftly rather than waiting for perfect information or conditions. Willingness to act decisively, even in the face of uncertainty
    • Program Management: Excellent project and program management skills with past experience dealing with product managers, engineers, technical program managers, senior leaders

Experience & Qualifications

    • 15+ years of experience in Technology and Commercial roles: Combining more than one of Software Development and Engineering, Product Management, Pre Sales and Customer Success in Enterprise SaaS companies
    • A degree in computer science engineering or technical education would be preferred.
