About the Role

Zeta has built the full range of Next-Gen technology and systems needed to operate high RoE credit card programs including Credit Card Processing, Origination, Mobile Apps, Lifecycle Marketing, Line Management, Conversational AI, Contact Center, Operations, Analytics, Rewards, Repayments and Collections, to multiple mid to large Financial Institutions in the US
The Sr Director Credit Cards is a multi-faceted role comprising Business Development, Sales, Solutioning and Product Strategy. In this role you will report into both our President US and our Global CEO

Common Responsibilities:

    • Gain an in-depth and hands on understanding of our entire SaaS stack for Tachyon Credit, Debit, Prepaid and all of the Surround Systems
    • In depth here means equivalent to our Product and Engineering teams that actually develop the stack, with first hand knowledge and understanding of the UI modules, APIs, low-code extension points, events, data model and features
    • Hands-on refers to having used each of those UI interfaces, APIs, events and features themselves in the manner they are expected to be used by an actual Customer

BD & Sales Responsibilities:

    • Discovery, Needs Assessment and high-level Solution Design
    • Engage in discussions with clients during Sales and RFP stages and understand their needs
    • Conduct as needed discovery sessions to gather information
    • Craft solutions that align with the customer's needs on the fly during calls and presentations with the readiness of being able to demonstrate them live
    • Deliver Demos
    • Create and maintain a library of efficient demo scripts for all of our Products
    • Conduct superlative demos of our platform and product offerings - highlighting key features, unique propositions and differentiating capabilities and using real world scenarios
    • Create Sales Presentations, Collateral, RFP Responses
    • Engage with product managers and engineers to gather up-to-date information
    • Articulate the value proposition of our platform
    • Create technical diagrams, architecture illustrations, and visuals to enhance the clarity of responses

Product Responsibilities:

    • Strategize on and contribute to the backlog of features that should be developed on our platforms above to maximize portfolio RoA for our Customers
    • Contribute to backlog grooming and picking the highest priority capabilities and modules we should add to each product to maximize RoA, RoE, reduce Cost to Income Ratio and improve Customer NPS of Zeta’s Bank Customers

    • Technical Expertise: Strong technical depth in understanding the architecture, functionality, interfaces and integration capabilities of Cloud native Enterprise SaaS platforms
    • Engineering Mindset - Ability to operate from first principles, heavily leverages tools and technologies, high tech aptitude
    • On the fly solutioning: Ability to understand needs, connect dots and solution on the fly when responding to client questions
    • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for presenting technical concepts to non-technical audiences
    • Business Acumen: Understanding the company's business goals, market dynamics, and competitive landscape and being able to contribute to product packaging, pricing, commercial proposals
    • Relationship Building: Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders at customers, and partners
    • Product and Industry Knowledge: Continuously staying updated on product developments, competitors, industry trends, and emerging technologies

Experience & Qualifications:

    • 11+ years of experience in Technology and Commercial roles combining more than one of Software Development and Engineering, Product Management, Pre Sales and Customer Success in Enterprise SaaS companies
    • Experience in heading Payment, Card, Credit Products strongly desirable
    • Degrees in Engineering / Economics / Finance / Statistics desirable
    • The ideal candidate has a strong technology bent and aptitude and hands-on experience across defining, launching, implementing and optimizing the full Program Management lifecycle of a Credit Card including -
    • Underwriting - Hands on experience of steps in building, monitoring and updating sophisticated credit risk and underwriting models and rules leveraging bureau data, alternative data and portfolio data
    • Portfolio Management - Experience in monitoring and growing the performance and size of large credit card portfolios
    • Operations - Experience in defining and running manual and automation processes to optimize Operations including Fraud Operations, Dispute Operations, Production Operations, Application Processing Operations, Account Operations, Settlement Operations. In depth understanding of the KPIs to measure and the pitfalls to watch for
    • Customer Support - Experience in running Contact Centers that deliver world class CSAT
    • Collections - Experience in defining sophisticated contact and collections strategies that a re both compliant and efficient, leveraging best in breed tools
    • Financial Modeling - Deep understanding and first hand experience in building sophisticated, multi-year, Credit Card Financial models (Income Statement and Balance Sheet), with granular assumptions of the relevant vintage curves
    • Indepth Systems knowledge - Indepth knowledge of vendors and capabilities across all relevant systems including - Application Processing, Loan Origination, KyC / IDV, Processing, Digital Apps, Servicing Apps, Collections, Fraud, Analytics etc
