Duties:
Responsible for full cycle software development.
Duties include:
1. Code complex application components based on design specs, while adhering to defined
programming standards, structured coding techniques, and development methodologies.
2. Design, develop, debug, while ensuring scalability, performance and security.
3. Collaborate with cross functional team members, including Product Management, Customer Success,
Quality Assurance, DevOps and Site Reliability Engineering.
4. Perform development on complex systems, requiring a deep understanding of both business
objectives and technical architecture.
5. Participate in team planning sessions and daily scrums meeting.
6. Enhance and establish automation to layout SDLC-related processes and integrate them into an Agile
Scrum software development framework.
7. Understand security issues, including vulnerability, exploits, phishing, intrusions & malware and
detect those threats on our applications.
Position Requirements: Master’s degree (or foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Information
Technology, Electrical Engineering or closely related field, plus 2 years of experience in any Software
Engineering, Software Testing or related position.
Experience may be gained pre or post Master’s and must include the following:
1) 2 years of experience with software design, development and automation
2) 2 years of experience with conducting vulnerability assessments, code reviews and penetration tests
against web/mobile application technologies, services, platforms and networks to find flaws and
exploits
3) 2 years of experience in developing Restful web services (APIs), spring applications and Unit testing
using JUnit/TestNG.
4) 2 years of experience working in an Agile environment and with Software Development Life Cycle
and Software Testing Life Cycle.
5) 2 years of experience with Java and Python.
6) 2 years of experience with the following technologies: Spring Boot, Kafka, Python (Django
framework), Angular, React, ElasticSearch DB, PostgreSQL.
7) 2 years of experience with Gradle, maven, Github, Datadog, kibana, Splunk, Swagger, Kong
dashboard, Postman and JIRA.
8) 2 years of experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or Azure.
9) 2 years of experience with Jenkins/TeamCity.
