Duties:
The Device Team Senior Software Engineer will manage the full software development cycle for Android and iOS applications, including design, development, testing, and deployment. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements, architect solutions, and ensure high-quality deliverables. Analyze device performance and security, and implement necessary improvements and mitigations.
Specific duties include:
1. Develop complex Mobile applications following design & architectural specifications, emphasizing design patterns, coding standards, maintainability, security and scalability.
2. Collaborate with Product Management, User Experience team, Developers and Testers to preview feature requirements, architecting design, develop and create automation testing to ensure comprehensive coverage and deployment of MTD and zDefend products.
3. Simulate threat attacks on iOS and Android devices to ensure real-time detection and mitigation, including validating various threat vectors and understanding ongoing threats.
4. Conduct high-intensity scans and pen testing to monitor anomalies, generate forensics, identify connected devices, and assess vulnerabilities.
5. Implement and program application using Mobile Device Management (MDM) and Mobile Authentication Management (MAM) flows to successfully integrate devices with the console to synchronize user devices, groups and tags for integrating policies.
6. Analyze and perform iOS and Android device validation with respective device operating system statistics, memory allocations, monitoring activity of the device, User interface Animation hitches, CPU counters and profiling, Data persistence, File activities, Memory leaks, Network.
7. Monitor iOS and Android battery consumption of the usage of the MTD and zDefend enabled applications and finding any gaps to improve the efficiency of the power consumption of the application.
8. Troubleshoot and perform root cause analysis of critical issues by deeply understanding Android, iOS, and Cross platform logging and Crash stack traces to diagnose and provide resolution for the same to ensure satisfaction of the customers.
9. Mentor and onboard Software Engineers and Interns to gain necessary development skills.
10. Lead the team and drive the project to completion and thereby ensure high quality software deliverables and security compliance through team planning sessions, standup meetings and create minimum viable product demos using Agile software methodologies.
Position Requirements:
Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field plus 3 years of post-baccalaureate experience as a Software Engineer.
Experience must include the following, which may be gained concurrently:
1) 3 years of experience in programming languages including Objective - C, Java, Kotlin Swift, Dart, C++ and C.
2) 3 years of programming skills using Flutter, iOS and Android Software Development Kit, RESTful APIs, XML, JSON schema, Protocol Buffers, Junit, and XCTest.
3) 3 years of experience with security and cryptography algorithms and frameworks including AES, SHA-256, bcrypt, OpenSSL and JWT.
4) 3 years of experience with creating Profile Signing, generating Keystores and Appstore and Playstore upload process.
5) 3 years of experience simulating threat attacks using MITM and Device tampering conducting vulnerability assessments pen testing using Runtime Mobile Security (RMS) in Kali Linux.
6) 3 years of experience in using Mobile Device Management (MDM) and MAM (Mobile Authentication Management) for authentication and authorization of mobile devices.
7) 3 years of experience with responsive design using Auto Layout, Design Constraints using Storyboards, Xib and Human Interface guidelines (HIG), and Material Design.
8) 3 years of experience in MVVM and MVC design patterns, Event Bus Architecture and Key Value Observer (KVO).
9) 3 years of experience in iOS App extensions and Android Intents and intent filters.
May telecommute within reasonable driving distance of office located in Dallas, TX.
Salary:
$134,971/year
