About the Operations Team
At Zippi, Operations is a core function responsible for the reliable delivery of our product and the day-to-day stability of the business. It’s structured around three key pillars: Business Operations, Customer Support, and Fraud Prevention. Business Operations monitors critical processes and responds quickly to disruptions, while Customer Support delivers fast, high-quality assistance to clients. Fraud Prevention safeguards our platform by detecting and mitigating risks in real time. Together, these pillars create a feedback loop that turns every challenge into an opportunity to serve our customers better.
We’re building an AI-native Operations stack — one where intelligent systems are not a layer on top, but the operating system itself. We partner cross-functionally with Engineering, Credit, Data Science, Growth, and Product to move fast and compound impact — and this role sits at the center of that transformation. You’ll design workflows that self-monitor, build systems that learn and improve, and replace manual effort with automation wherever possible. What You’ll Do
- Design an automated observability stack – Design and implement intelligent systems that monitor operations proactively, surface anomalies early, and automatically triage issues. Your work will give Zippi real-time awareness and the ability to respond instantly at scale. When something’s off, you’re the first to know and the one leading the charge to understand and solve it.
- Build an AI-native CX Platform – Partner with Engineering and Product to evolve Customer Support into a fully tech-powered function. You’ll design automation-first solutions, integrate LLMs where useful, and ensure customers get instant, high-quality help — with minimal manual effort. Your goal is to turn support into a scalable engine that delights customers without scaling headcount.
- Automate fraud prevention at scale – Own the workflows behind fraud detection and response. You’ll design and implement tools that flag suspicious behavior in real time, route edge cases intelligently, and ensure high accuracy with minimal human involvement. Your mission is to build a scalable fraud ops engine that’s always on, always learning, and deeply trusted.
- Act as a culture conduit – Model technological, customer obsession, and long-term thinking. Connect dots, shape strategy, and raise the quality bar across Zippi. You’ll bring clarity through structure, elevate others by example, and champion long-term thinking in a fast-paced environment.
What We’re Looking For
- Systematic and process-oriented – You think in terms of systems and flows, not just one-off fixes. - Comfortable operating in data-rich environments – You know how to navigate complexity, extract signal from noise, and use data to inform decisions. You’re fluent in metrics, dashboards, and root-cause analysis — and you design systems that are measurable by default.
