You will work with a team of world-class engineers with diverse backgrounds in robotics, control, and vehicle engineering to deliver the vehicle performance. In taking on ownership of the Technical Program Manager - Stability role within Vehicle Integration, you will be an integral link in the initiative to maximize the testing value of Zoox’s test vehicles.
In this role, you will:
- Track issues and drive issue resolution on issues identified from VI testing activities
- Generate stability scores for test vehicles and dashboards showing issue summaries and status
- Analyze results to identify which systems have opportunities for improvement
- Coordinate and represent issues in regular escalation meetings with senior management to promote issue resolution.
- Coordinate and support documenting issues for test vehicle assets
- Align on the stability test plan
Qualifications
- BS or MS degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent experience
- At least 10 years of experience in engineering, and/or program management
- An ability to keep the big picture in focus and to provide clear, well-structured, and concise communications tailored to each appropriate audience
- Proficient in tools or processes required to manage complex projects (i.e. JIRA, Confluence, etc.)
- Excellent written, presentation, and verbal communication skills are a must, ability to create visualizations of KPIs and program risks
Bonus Qualifications
- Track record in managing complex cross-functional projects or facilities
- Experience with developing and scaling strategy, processes, plans, procedures, reporting, and handling escalations
Compensation
There are three major components to compensation for this position: salary, Amazon Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), and Zoox Stock Appreciation Rights. The salary range for this position is $150,000 to $215,000. A sign-on bonus may be offered as part of the compensation package. Compensation will vary based on geographic location and level. Leveling, as well as positioning within a level, is determined by a range of factors, including, but not limited to, a candidate's relevant years of experience, domain knowledge, and interview performance. The salary range listed in this posting is representative of the range of levels Zoox is considering for this position.
