Zoox is looking for a Validation and Verification intern with strong interest in software development to deliver complex reporting on the state of the entire fleet. The intern would interact with multiple teams to ensure critical safety feature and will be responsible for the automation of the following (listed below).
Responsibilities
- Collect diagnostic data across the fleet;
- Analyze audio data;
- Inject failures to test reporting and recovery mechanisms;
- Import results into Testrail.
Technical Qualifications & Language Requirements:
- Rising senior or master’s degree pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Robotics or equivalent experience;
- Experience with Python and Linux shell scripting;
- Fluent programming ability (Python). Fair amount of completed LeetCode exercises or similar;
- Familiarity with modern software development methodologies and tools (Agile, Git, unit testing, CI etc.);
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills;
- Positive attitude, team player and ability to quickly adapt to changes
Compensation
The monthly salary range for this position is $6,500 to $9,500. Compensation will vary based on role, degree level and type, and benefits will be offered based on eligibility. Additional benefits may include medical insurance, 401k, and a housing stipend.
