As a Technical Program Manager, you will work with a team of world-class engineers with diverse backgrounds in areas such as robotics, controls, and vehicle engineering to develop vehicle attribute deliverables. You’ll be an integral part of the Vehicle Integration and lead the attribute teams to successfully develop and deliver a high-quality product to market.
In this role, you will:
- Drive the end-to-end program execution for key vehicle attributes (e.g., vehicle dynamics, NVH, thermal, energy, ergonomics, safety) by defining schedules, identifying critical paths, and managing dependencies
- Lead cross-functional teams to align on technical requirements, deliverables, and priorities, ensuring tight alignment with high-level program milestones
- Proactively identify, track, and mitigate program risks, and drive complex technical issues to resolution by facilitating root-cause analysis and trade-off discussions
- Serve as the central point of communication for program status, clearly and concisely reporting progress, risks, and trade-off decisions to stakeholders and senior leadership
- Facilitate key program meetings and gate reviews, ensuring teams are prepared with high-quality deliverables and robust development plans
Qualifications
- B.S. or M.S. in Engineering
- At least 8 years of experience, wtih 5+ years of experience in technical program management within the automotive industry
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate cross-functional engineering teams, manage ambiguity, and ship a complex, integrated product
- Exceptional organizational skills and expertise in program management tools (e.g., Jira, Smartsheet) and product development lifecycles
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with a proven ability to distill complex technical topics for a diverse audience, from engineers to executives
$163,000 - $196,000 a year
Base Salary Range
There are three major components to compensation for this position: salary, Amazon Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), and Zoox Stock Appreciation Rights. A sign-on bonus may be offered as part of the compensation package. The listed range applies only to the base salary. Compensation will vary based on geographic location and level. Leveling, as well as positioning within a level, is determined by a range of factors, including, but not limited to, a candidate's relevant years of experience, domain knowledge, and interview performance. The salary range listed in this posting is representative of the range of levels Zoox is considering for this position.
