At the center of our mobility service is the ride hailing application. At Zoox, we aren’t just building a conventional ride hailing app. There are unique challenges and opportunities for innovation when you throw autonomous vehicles in the mix. In this role, you will play a key part in paving the way for the development of novel solutions for our customers. You will drive the mobile app product strategy & definition through close collaboration across research, design, and engineering. Collaboration will be key to success as you work to define, align, and iterate product requirements from inception to launch and beyond. You will be responsible for both iOS and Android applications and ensure consistent, world-class experiences are delivering value to our customers.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Define and create the mobile app product strategy and roadmaps for iOS and Android platforms
- Develop a deep understanding of the customer, markets, and business objectives to align your product domain to company-level goals and objectives
- Collaborate with research, design, and engineering teams to develop solutions and align key decisions
- Build out and maintain detailed product requirements documents
- Ruthlessly prioritize features against milestones and ensure priorities are clearly communicated at all times
- Measure and track the success of your products
- Use insights and data to iterate and optimize the product experience
- Generate user stories and acceptance criteria as inputs to the software development process
- Own the successful execution of the product roadmap across its lifecycle
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of 3+ years of product management experience bringing consumer-facing mobile applications to market
- Technical background (degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience)
- Track record of taking action and delivering
- Ability to build trustful relationships and collaborate with cross functional stakeholders
- Ability to manage multiple large initiatives or platforms in parallel
- Passion for impactful user experiences and relentless attention to detail
- Extremely comfortable with data and can navigate complex tradeoffs in a structured way
- Highly proficient communicator who knows how to engage with engineering, design, and senior-level internal and external stakeholders
- Passion for what we are doing at Zoox in the autonomous mobility space
BONUS QUALIFICATIONS
- You have stewarded products through their lifecycle in a relevant space
- Experience with both iOS and Android app development
- Experience building products from 0 to 1
- Experience working in the AV space
