The Hardware Software Integration and Platform Systems team at Zoox is responsible for focussing on system integration/ system verification and system stability. We are looking for an intern who is excited to work in the intersection of hardware, software, and firmware. In this role, you may be called upon to do new product exploration, prototyping of hardware PCBA and systems, testing and characterization of hardware/software systems, as well as automation of tooling and processes.
Technical Qualifications & Language Requirements:
- EE experience with hardware (designing, testing, debugging boards)
- Hands-on skills using instrumentation tools, characterization
- Experience in Python (relevant to automating testing)
- Involvement in extracurricular robotics or other hardware system projects
Compensation
The monthly salary range for this position is $6,500 to $9,500. Compensation will vary based on role, degree level and type, and benefits will be offered based on eligibility. Additional benefits may include medical insurance, 401k, and a housing stipend.
