Construction Manager, Special Projects

Foster City, CA
Finance – Facilities
Full-time
As Construction Manager of Special Projects, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing to completion all small to medium renovations or additions to existing Zoox sites.  This may involve managing several specialty contractors/subcontractors and could be best viewed as an “In-House General Contractor” role.  You may also be asked to make minor modifications to newly acquired sites in order to activate them quickly.  As Zoox continues to evolve, these types of projects are important since previous plans may no longer meet individual team needs and spaces may require quick reconfiguration.

You will be expected to work independently and interact professionally with members of multiple Zoox departments and various outside contractors.  This is neither a full time desk job nor a full time field job.  A successful candidate will feel equally comfortable sitting in front of a computer reviewing spreadsheets, contracts and invoices as they are walking a project, poking their head in a ceiling and doing field sketches.
