Our Product Managers work on products that directly impact millions of people's financial lives. In this role in our Loans tribe, you'll shape the future of motor finance and personal loans – Zopa's most valuable products.
This isn't about incremental improvements. It's about reimagining what lending products can be. Whether you're crafting features that help customers effortlessly manage their loans, revolutionising our originations funnels, or building tools that delight our 100+ motor finance dealers, you'll be solving real problems for real people.
A day in the life:
- Building from zero to one: Take products from initial spark to product-market fit, then scale them to serve hundreds of thousands of customers
- Obsessing over metrics that matter: Identify the levers that drive real impact and lead cross-functional initiatives to move them
- Partnering with brilliant engineers: Work side-by-side with your squad to make smart trade-offs between perfection and speed
- Living in your customers' world: Combine quantitative data with qualitative insights to truly understand what customers need (not just what they say they want)
- Breaking down barriers: Build genuine relationships with compliance, legal, and security teams – turning potential blockers into your biggest champions
- Shipping at pace: Champion a test-and-learn culture where we validate fast, fail fast, and scale what works
About you:
- You're a builder at heart. You've shipped customer-facing products that made a real difference, whether building from scratch or transforming existing ones
- You can point to specific metrics you've moved and explain exactly how you did it
- You understand that great products come from hundreds of small decisions made well
- You're customer-obsessed (really). You know that loving customers isn't just about being nice – it's about deeply understanding their problems
- You're equally comfortable analysing data patterns and sitting down with customers for in-depth conversations
- You can synthesise multiple sources of insight into clear product decisions
- You bias towards action: You'd rather ship something imperfect and learn than debate endlessly
- You know how to balance speed with quality, and when each matters most
- You see constraints as creative challenges, not roadblocks
- You're a natural collaborator: When asked about your team, you immediately think of engineers and designers, not just other PMs
- You've worked in cross-functional squads and know how to get the best from diverse perspectives
- You can influence without authority and bring people along on the journey
- Bonus points for: Fintech experience (though great product thinking trumps domain knowledge)
- Experience in lending, credit, or financial products
- A track record of building habit-forming products
- Stories about products you've built that you're genuinely proud of
We're on the move!
Towards the end of 2025 Zopa will be relocating to a brand-new headquarters at 20 Water Street in Canary Wharf. The 44,000 square foot workspace will foster collaboration and inspire creativity for our 900 employees amidst our 2025 growth blitz.

We value face-to-face collaboration and a good work-life balance. This hybrid role requires you to come to our London office 2-3 days a week.
