As a production team, our mission is to deliver high-quality products on time to researchers and industry customers around the world. In close collaboration with the development team, we bring new instruments into the series production flow. We also work closely with the sales team to make sure we supply our customers on time and with premium service.
Your responsibilities
- Drive projects to improve output, quality, and on-time delivery
- Monitor KPIs, identify bottlenecks and implement structured yield improvements
- Be the technical reference within the manufacturing & supply chain organization
- Ownership of a set of products in terms of quality and testing
- Take responsibility for the NPI, ECR and ECO processes
- Provide first level support, report technical issues and production downtime
- Work in close collaboration with R&D and ensure knowledge transfer
- Coach, train and support team members
Your profile
- BSc or FH degree in electrical engineering or electronics
- 5 years+ experience as production engineer in an industrial environment
- Proven experience with manufacturing process and new product introduction
- Experience with calibration and testing scripts, Python is a plus
- Deep understanding of production processes and ERP systems
- Lean Six Sigma certification and proven project management experience
- Excellent communication skills, analytic and solution oriented thinking, independent and conscientious working style
- Fluent German and English
