Overview: As the Senior Business Analyst III, you would provide business analysis and consulting services to Zuri Group clients and on internal development projects. Typical client projects include the complete functionality of fundraising software systems, including business process improvement, system configuration, conversion mapping and validation, system integration, reporting and data visualization, user acceptance testing, end-user training, deployment, and post-launch support.

Job Responsibilities

    • Guide discovery for project deliverables including software configuration, custom development, and integration. Record key decisions and business cases for project archive.
    • Analyze client needs and business processes. Identify functional and technical requirements needed to meet the client’s goals. Write specifications to guide development efforts that meet those goals.
    • Proactively provide recommendations and best practice advice on meeting goals through software system configuration, customization, process improvement, and/or staff training.
    • Lead data focused projects with the client from scope to final solutions.
    • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and senior leadership.
    • Be the first point of contact for response to client technical questions. 
    • Oversee Quality Assurance testing to ensure work products meet client requirements.   
    • Educate and train clients on system functionality, particularly for go-live stabilization, offering users guidance to become proficient in use of new tools. 
    • Participate in our knowledge-sharing culture by contributing to internal documentation and best practices.

Relevant Skills & Experience

    • 5+ years of experience as a business analyst or performing primarily business analytics duties.  
    • 3+ years of experience or level of proficiency with CRM systems; Blackbaud, Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, RE, and/or RENXT.
    • Highly analytical, technically proficient, and able to learn new tools and software quickly.
    • Comfortability managing multiple projects at a time with fast turnaround times. 
    • Passion for nonprofit and/or higher education work and a commitment to using technology for social good. 
    • Experience working with large non-profit or higher education organizations, with knowledge of applicable fundraising and business processes.
    • Excitement for finding creative solutions to complex technical problems.
    • Experience and willingness to work autonomously as well as collaboratively with your team and across teams. 
    • Professional proficiency in written and spoken English sufficient to communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders and staff effectively and accurately through all levels of the agency. 
    • Demonstrated commitment to fostering and maintaining an environment of diversity, inclusion, and belonging.

Bonus Points

    • Bachelor's degree in or related field; Business Admin, Non-Profit Admin, or similar.
    • Experience with managing projects in a consulting context/framework.
    • Working knowledge of JIRA or other task-management systems.
Salary range for this role is $115,000 to $125,000 per year, depending on experience.
