The Opportunity
As the Global PR Manager, you will report to and work closely with our Global Marketing Director to proactively build and foster journalist relationships across key markets. Prioritising a product-first mentality for coverage and driving wider elements of our PR strategy (Trade Press, Awards, LinkedIn, Business Profiling and Charity). This will involve:
·       Owning top-tier media relationships, with a wide knowledge of international media outlets (USA, UK, AUS + EU)
·       Developing and maintaining a media matrix of journalists globally
·       Managing product placement across big bets for the season
·       Working across Consumer Press in USA and UK
·       Working across Trade Press in USA, UK, AUS and EU
·       Owning and managing a calendar for entries into global toy awards
·       Assessing risks and managing crisis communications response where necessary.

You’re a dynamic all-rounder with well-developed EQ, a keen eye for top-tier stories and a knack for working exclusive angles. To be successful in this role, you’ll also:
·       Bring 3+ years of experience in a PR, communications, or journalist role
·       Have existing journalist relationships and a history of product placement in media
·       Be a self-starter, proficient at managing multiple concurrent projects
·       Manage complex internal and external stakeholders with ease
·       Have excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
·       Be a Microsoft Office pro who loves PowerPoint.
