We are a dynamic consumer goods company with best seller brands in Toys, Babycare, Haircare, Pet food, other household goods. Our business in France is growing massively due to which we are looking to add an Accountant to support our financial reconciliations and audits.

The ideal candidate will be involved with preparing financial reports and statements, bank reconciliations, and conducting cyclical audits. Moreover, the candidate must have strong interpersonal skills to work with our international team.

Main job duties and responsibilities:

    • Order invoicing: Maintain up to date billing
    • Generate and send out invoices
    • Follow up, collect and allocate payments
    • Carry out billing, collection and reporting activities according to specific deadlines
    • Perform account reconciliations
    • Monitor account details for non-payments, delayed payments and other irregularities, contact customers via phone, email, mail for chasing payments
    • Research and resolve payment discrepancies
    • Maintain accounts receivable customer files and records
    • Follow established procedures for processing receipts, suppliers invoices
    • Investigate and resolve customer queries
    • Communicate with customers via phone, email, mail
    • Assist with month-end closing
    • Communicate and provide all information to our Finance team in China
    • Offer administrative back-up to the team, when needed
    • Generate turn-over reports twice a month, per specific needs

Education and experience required to be successful in this role:

    • Knowledge of accounts receivable
    • Knowledge of office administration and procedures
    • Knowledge of general bookkeeping procedures
    • Knowledge of SAP, or other accounting system
    • Knowledge of general accounting principals
    • Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements
    • Minimum 5 year experience in accounts receivable or general accounting experience
