Your Role

You will build and execute go-to-market plans across ZURU’s toy brands, driving sell-in, developing retail activation plans and building strategic relationships with key retail partners to fuel our growth and establish ZURU as a leading Toy manufacturer in Australia.

Disrupt the market to better meet consumer & customer needs: develop and execute to our customers strategic plans to elevate ZURU’s brands, drive commercially viable growth and market share gains.

Execute with excellence: maximise availability, visibility and awareness of ZURU brands in-store and online via best-in-class delivery of core ranging, out of aisle, displays and suite of ZURU’s market leading assets.

Your Impact

Working closely with the General Manager of APAC / China / MEA you will focus on building strategic relationships with your retail and distribution partners in Australia, ensuring our Platform Brands and Big Bet items are maximised every season. In doing so you will ensure ZURU is capturing or over-indexing its Share of Shelf and Share of Assets vs competitors.

You will work closely with commercial, sales operations and marketing teams to build business plans, craft pitches, grow listings, revenue and share. You will be able to collaborate and build relationships with our cross-functional teams primarily across Australia, New Zealand and China.

Responsibilities

    • Execute with excellence: maximise availability, visibility and awareness of ZURU brands instore and online via best-in-class delivery of core range, big bets, out of aisle, displays and marketing activations across our platform brands.
    • You will be responsible for leading and managing our key partners such as Big W, Woolworths, Coles, Aldi and various others.
    • Own the P&L for the accounts and partners you are responsible for. Ensuring relentless focus on shared wins & maximising ROI for any commercial investment.
    • You will ensure ZURU is capturing or over-indexing its share of shelf vs competitors, working closely with commercial, marketing & supply teams to achieve distribution goals and maximize performance at shelf.
    • You will be able to work and deliver results while working as part of a cross-functional team across different time zones (primarily New Zealand & China). Commercial, Operations, Sales Support and various other teams and departments.
    • Ownership of key account relationships with responsibility of building long term alignment to enable delivery of mutually aligned strategic & financial goals.
    • Constantly add value by developing and improving processes to enhance performance and drive efficiencies.

Required

    • 3-5+ years of professional experience - Key Account or National Account Management
    • Toy Industry experience preferred but not required
    • Strong commercial & business acumen, growth mindset and solution focussed
    • Strong communication & influencing skills, with the ability to translate messages across a variety of internal and external stakeholders
