Your role at ZURU Edge will be instrumental in driving the success of our business in New Zealand. With your strong grasp of the 4P framework and ability to foster mutually beneficial outcomes, you will collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop tailored customer strategies. Leveraging your exceptional communication, account management, and negotiation skills, you will effectively align strategies with customers. Your organisation, time management, and self-motivation will ensure the successful execution of these strategies, enabling you to consistently exceed sales targets.

Build and maintain strong relationships with buyers, understanding their needs and preferences. Collaborate with them to develop strategies that align with our business goals.
Take ownership of key sales measures and targets, striving to achieve and exceed them. Continuously analyse sales data and market trends to identify growth opportunities and develop action plans.
Work closely with the teams to implement customer category strategies effectively. Ensure the execution of best-in-class 4P (product, price, place, and promotion) strategies.
Collaborate with Demand Planning to ensure exceptional customer service levels. Proactively address any potential issues and work towards exceeding customer expectations.
Partner with the team to implement category plans and trade business plans to ensuring the success of category initiatives.
Implement and execute promotional strategies in collaboration with customers. Effectively manage trade budgets, optimise product range and space allocation to maximise sales opportunities.
Manage customer negotiations aligned with ZURU’s commercial strategy. Drive favourable terms while maintaining strong relationships with customers.
Identify opportunities for efficiency, profitability, and overall improvement in category management. Proactively seek innovative solutions to enhance processes and drive business success.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Proven track record in national account management, with a focus on achieving sales targets and building customer relationships.
- Strong understanding of the 4P framework and experience in executing category strategies.
- Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to drive mutually beneficial agreements.
- Analytical mindset with proficiency in analysing sales data and market trends.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and customers.
- Detail-oriented with strong organisational and time management skills.
- Self-motivated and results-driven, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Experience in category management or shopper marketing is desirable.
