ROLE PURPOSE
Leading account management for major retailers in France one of Europe’s largest markets.

Driving sales growth, and identifying business development opportunities - the position requires collaboration with the Regional Director to execute the sales strategy, conducting market analysis, implementing effective sales and marketing strategies, utilizing multilingual communication skills, and managing in-market forecasting, reporting, and cross-functional collaboration for ZURU Edge.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
You will play a pivotal role in driving ZURU Edge's success in France by establishing and nurturing strong relationships with major retailers, driving sales growth, and identifying strategic opportunities.

The overarching purpose of the role is to ensure the effective execution of the sales and business development strategy, conduct insightful market analyses, and foster cross-functional collaboration, ultimately contributing to ZURU Edge's market share expansion and sustained success in the competitive Western European retail landscape.

Key Account Management

    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with major retailers.
    • Drive sales growth and achieve revenue targets through effective account management strategies.
    • Identify and capitalize on business development opportunities within existing key accounts.

Collaboration with Regional Director

    • Work closely with the Regional Director to implement and execute the overall sales and business development strategy for the European market.
    • Provide regular updates on market trends, competitor activities, and potential risks and opportunities.

Market Analysis and Strategy

    • Conduct thorough market analysis to understand customer needs, industry trends, and competitive landscape.
    • Develop and implement effective sales and marketing strategies to maximize Zuru Edge's market share.

Multilingual Communication

    • Utilize fluent language skills, particularly in French (additional languages are a plus), to effectively communicate with clients and internal stakeholders.
    • Conduct negotiations, presentations, and business discussions in a professional and culturally sensitive manner.

Forecasting and Reporting

    • Prepare accurate sales forecasts and reports to aid in strategic decision-making.
    • Monitor and analyze sales performance against targets, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

    • Collaborate with internal teams such as marketing, logistics, and product development to ensure seamless execution of strategies and initiatives.
    • Provide feedback from key accounts to inform product development and improve overall customer satisfaction.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
    • Proven track record of success in key account management within the FMCG industry.
    • +5 years of industry experience desired.
    • Strong understanding of Western European retail markets and consumer trends.
    • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with fluency in English and French (additional languages are a plus).
    • Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
    • Ability to travel within Europe as needed.
