This is a newly created position within our Commercial Sales Team. You'll take charge of the Demand Planning and Analytics for our growing global collectible ecosystem with our award-winning brand 5 Surprise Mini Brands.

Your focus will be on generating timely, succinct and commercially relevant insights that support ZURU’s Commercial & Sales teams make strategic decisions for long-term success. 

Through a deep and holistic understanding of point-of-sales reporting, transactional, shopper, consumer and customer data and insights, you will skillfully pinpoint recommendations grounded in fact and be a key driver of long-term brand strategy and growth plans and aligned to delivering on our 3-year strategic plan.  

Comfortable unlocking growth and translating brand, category and sales objectives into executable recommendations while obtaining buy-in from your key stakeholders across internal teams. You are likely to be analytical and data-driven with extensive exposure to category management, analytics and consumer goods sales. 

This is Freemans, Bay, Auckland based at our Global Commercial Sales Excellence Centre.

What You'll Do:

    • Lead all reporting and insights for ZURU’s rapidly expanding collectible portfolio.  
    • Use various data sources to craft optimal sell-in strategies for the global business & work with sales & sales operations teams on executing against this  
    • Work collaboratively with digital, sales operations, commercial & marketing teams to craft winning demand & supply tactics
    • Lead the creation of a 1–3 year business plan with the senior management team
    • Identify market/customer range gaps, work with Commercial and sales teams follow the status of gaps and support in providing innovative solutions.
    • Support the Commercial team with relevant analysis so they can prepare strategies for their respective brand portfolios including case studies.

What You'll Bring:

    • Strong category management or analytics-related experience in the Consumer Goods space
    • Basic proficiency in business intelligence software, including Tableau and BI 
    • Proven ability to produce insights and translate these into actionable, leading implementation strategies
    • Excellent stakeholder relationship and management skills
    • Ability to multi-task and be able to set priorities, stay focused, and set clear milestones
    • Excellent Microsoft Office skills in particular Excel
