Zus is a shared health data platform designed to accelerate healthcare data interoperability by providing easy-to-use patient data via API, embedded components, and direct EHR integrations. Founded in 2021 by Jonathan Bush, co-founder and former CEO of athenahealth, Zus partners with HIEs and other data networks to aggregate patient clinical history and then translates that history into user-friendly information at the point of care. Zus's mission is to catalyze healthcare's greatest inventors by maximizing the value of patient insights - so that they can build up, not around.

Zus Health is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Enterprise Sales Director to join our Commercial Organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales of Zus Aggregated Profile (ZAP) to digital healthcare organizations, leveraging their Deep understanding of the Electronic Health Record (EHR) and healthcare technology space, Interoperability, and the Payer Market, and proven track record of selling complex SaaS solutions within the healthcare industry. This role will report to the Head of Sales.

As part of our early team, you will be asked to:

    • Generate new leads through networking, prospecting, and leveraging existing healthcare networks to identify and qualify potential customers
    • Establish, cultivate, and maintain relationships with senior executives of prospective digital healthcare companies to understand their needs and position Zus Health as a strategic partner
    • Manage multiple deals simultaneously, balancing competing priorities and driving each deal through the sales cycle from lead generation to contract negotiation and close
    • Create and deliver compelling sales presentations to customers and prospects at all levels and across various departments, effectively articulating the value proposition of Zus Health solutions
    • Address product uses, benefits, competitive advantages, and business terms during sales discussions, ensuring alignment with customer needs and objectives
    • Actively drive contract negotiations in partnership with the legal team, ensuring favorable terms and timely closure of deals
    • Maintain a real-time understanding of the evolving competitive landscape and market trends, leveraging insights to inform sales strategies and maximize revenue opportunities
    • Perform other tasks as assigned

You're a good fit because you have:

    • At least 10 years of recent experience selling complex SaaS application software solutions within the healthcare industry, with a focus on enterprise sales to risk bearing entities, payers, health systems, and large provider groups
    • Consistently hit goals and exceed annual revenue targets 
    • Deep understanding of the Electronic Health Record (EHR) and healthcare technology space, Interoperability, and the Payer Market
    • Proven track record of acquiring clients, negotiating, and selling platform solutions to executives of healthcare companies
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of an organization
    • Passionate about driving innovation and improving patient care, with a collaborative approach to problem-solving and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences
    • Data-driven and action-oriented, with the ability to analyze sales data and metrics to inform decision-making and drive results
    • High level of integrity, empathy, and professionalism, with a demonstrated ability to build trust and rapport with customers
    • Self-motivated and adaptable, with a passion for driving innovation and delivering exceptional customer experiences
    • Bachelor’s degree
    • Willingness to travel and attend conferences as needed to represent Zus Health and engage with potential customers
    • Passion for improving healthcare in the US
$100,000 - $150,000 a year
Compensation will include base salary and variable compensation along with equity and benefits
