About Zyper:
Zyper helps brands connect with their fans, and fans connect with each other. Our founder Amber Atherton leveraged a brand community to grow and sell her online jewelry brand, and started Zyper to help other companies do the same. The team started in London in 2017, but quickly moved to Palo Alto to participate in Y Combinators’s Winter 2018 program. As brands like Lyft, Unilever, and Dior used Zyper to grow, the company attracted the attention of top investors like Forerunner Ventures and Talis Capital.  Today, Zyper is a distributed team of 30 people. While our HQ is in San Francisco, our product and engineering team members live in Oakland, NYC, Colombia, Portugal, and Romania.  

The Challenge: 
You’ll work on our Sales Team, helping to build our book of business and drive our most important metric, ARR. You’ll support our Executive Director of Sales and Account Executives through prospecting, pipeline building, and qualifying leads. We are looking for someone who is an outbounding wizard and who has a strong customer facing presence to drive in our early stage sales processes.

What you'll do:

    • Reach out to prospects through email, cold calling, and messaging across social media platforms. 
    • Conduct research on target accounts and develop creative campaigns to generate new business opportunities.
    • Actively review messaging sequences and uncover the specific indicators that drive the highest response rates.
    • Spend time on LinkedIn and Twitter, observing and engaging with relevant content to stay mindful of industry news, trending conversations, announcements from prospects and more.
    • Work closely with the Sales Team to define criteria around qualified accounts and as a result, identify and secure meetings with the right stakeholders.
    • Vet and qualify inbound leads and book meetings with the best fits.
    • Conduct research on target accounts and develop creative campaigns to generate new business opportunities.

    • 1+ years of experience in a sales or business development role, preferably in the marketing or tech industry (bonus points for having closed deals).
