Achievers is looking for an Intermediate UX Designer who is passionate about creating human-centered products that empower meaningful connections in the workplace. You’ll champion an empathetic approach to design that helps bring thoughtful user experiences to life through research, collaboration, and creative solutions to solve complex problems derived from user insights. We’re looking for a team member who has a contagious drive for learning, acquiring new skills and perspectives, and who cares about collaborating and sharing insights with the team.
Responsibilities
- Solve problems with a user-centric approach, craft thoughtful user experiences, and design great looking products.
- Collaborate and share ideas and concepts as a strategic member of a dynamic product team.
- Collaborate with different disciplines. You will work closely with engineers, product managers, UX researchers, data scientists, and front-end developers to explore, build and ship your designs. You will help other disciplines understand the value design can bring to a project.
- Partner closely with the Product team to create exceptional wireframes, process flows, mock-ups and other design documentation.
- Champion design thinking within the product team. You will be empowered to use your knowledge of human-centred design to ensure the product is solving the right user problems.
- Drive UX research to help your team develop empathy for our users and advocate for their needs.
- Test and refine flows with internal & external stakeholders and users.
- Work with the UI team to define and refine the patterns, templates and components that are used across the platform.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience and a passion for solving product problems while balancing all facets of a user experience (discovery and research, information architecture, prototyping, interaction design, etc.).
- Strong communication and collaboration skills within a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- An understanding of the end-to-end iterative design process including how to develop and use design research, job stories, journey mapping, wire-framing, prototyping, user testing, and high-fidelity visuals to achieve user-centric design solutions.
- Proficiency in interaction design for native mobile and responsive web applications.
- Experience collaborating closely with multiple disciplines including product and engineering within agile scrum.
- You possess an intensely collaborative spirit that enable you share early and iterate quickly.
- Proficiency with Figma, Miro, user testing frameworks, and other UX design / prototyping tools.
- You know that good design requires research, multiple iterations, and attention to detail.
- You have a strong portfolio of related projects and believe that your best work is still ahead of you.
