About the Role:
As Mysa’s senior, in-market leader for Québec, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth, enhancing brand awareness, and ensuring operational excellence across the region. This role owns the Québec market P&L and leads cross-functional initiatives including sales, marketing, partnerships, and public relations. Your mission is to ensure Mysa becomes the preferred smart thermostat brand in Québec.

-Collaborate with stakeholders on refining Québec go‑to‑market plan aligned to corporate objectives, including segment prioritization, pricing, promotional calendars, and resource requirements.
-Own the Québec regional budget, including revenue and P&L targets.
-Deliver annual and quarterly sales targets aligned with Mysa’s multi-channel growth strategy.
-Collaborate with stakeholders on optimizing the e‑commerce sales funnel in Quebec; enable retail, utility and trade channel partners with training and marketing assets to drive sell‑through.
-Localise national campaigns and launch Québec‑specific initiatives (digital, out‑of‑home, events, influencer/creator programmes) to drive brand awareness and demand.
-Align messaging with Québec cultural nuances and language laws (Bill 96 / Charter of the French Language).
-Foster strategic partnerships with provincial utilities, smart‑home platforms, retailers, HVAC contractors, installers, and energy‑efficiency programmes.
-Represent Mysa in provincial industry associations and rebate initiatives.
-Serve as Québec spokesperson; secure earned media coverage in French‑language outlets (La Presse, Radio‑Canada, TVA, etc.)
-Monitor and influence provincial policy / incentives impacting electrification and energy efficiency.
-Coordinate with cross‑functional teams (marketing, sales, support, finance, etc) to execute Quebec regional programmes.
-Provide weekly progress updates and quarterly business reviews to Senior Leadership Team.
Key Performance Indicators
- Success in this role will be measured by:
-Regional revenue and profitability
-Brand awareness and earned media coverage
-Strength of partnerships and stakeholder satisfaction
-Québec market Net Promoter Score (NPS)
Required Qualifications
- Experience: 10+ years in sales, marketing, or commercial leadership, ideally within, HVAC, energy, or smart‑home sectors, with full P&L accountability.
- Language: Native‑level French and professional English fluency.
- Education: Bachelor’s in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related; MBA an asset.
- Skills: Negotiation, channel management, digital marketing, data‑driven planning, public speaking, team leadership.
- Network: Existing relationships with Québec retail buyers, utilities, and media preferred.
