About the Position
Indico Data is looking to bring on a contract recruiter for up to 40 hours a week to assist in building out the company’s product marketing team. This role reports to our VP of Talent + Ops but you will work closely with the CMO who is the hiring manager for these roles. 

About You
You’re an experienced recruiter with a solid track record building out marketing functions, particularly product marketing teams. You understand the nuances in Marketing roles and can distinguish between candidates that would be a fit for Product Marketing vs Content Marketing vs Marketing Communications. Your initial focus before working on other marketing roles will be on filing our Senior Product Marketing Manager role found here. You’re familiar with working in a fast paced and high growth environment and consider yourself a self starter. You eat, sleep, breathe email to make sure you can always get back to candidates in a timely manner and can run a hiring process from first call to offer in your sleep. 

Responsibilities

    • Partner with hiring managers to determine qualification criteria for each position and construct job descriptions and hiring plan
    • Advertise job openings on careers pages, job boards and social networks and creatively source candidates through online channels like Slack groups, professional networks, university networks and others
    • Screen resumes and applications and update candidates on hiring processes and answer any questions regarding application process
    • Interview candidates during various hiring stages, specifically first round interviews with candidates
    • Report to hiring managers and VP of Talent + Ops on the status of open positions on a weekly basis
    • Partner with hiring managers to determine qualification criteria for each position and construct job descriptions and hiring plan

Requirements

    • Proven work experience as an Internal Recruiter at a high-growth venture backed start-up
    • Consistent track record of filling Marketing roles, specifically Product Marketing
    • Solid understanding of full-cycle recruiting
    • Experience with Linkedin Recruiter, and other sourcing platforms 
    • Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems, specifically Lever
    • Some knowledge of labor legislation
    • Superb verbal and written communication skills
